Join our team as a Skilled Heavy Equipment Operator, a vital role for construction and material handling projects. If you're safety-focused and experienced with heavy machinery, we want you!
This position provides an exciting opportunity to operate various heavy machinery, including excavators, rollers, and pavers. Candidates with a background in asphalt are preferred but not mandatory. You will assist with site preparation, perform equipment inspections, and follow strict safety protocols to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy machinery like excavators and pavers safely
• Load and unload freight with precision
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment
• Assist with grading and material movement tasks
• Maintain records of equipment usage and inspections
Requirements:
• Proven experience with heavy machinery operation
• Knowledge of freight handling processes
• Basic automotive repair skills for equipment maintenance
• Strong safety consciousness and communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work in varying weather conditions
