Telecom Technician, Legacy Wiring and Fujitsu Phone System

Telecom Technician, Legacy Wiring and Fujitsu 9600 Phone System Experience Required, Kingston, MA

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Technician to join the technical and support team. Previous Telecom and Legacy Wiring experience required. We are looking for an independent worker with the ability to think on their own and make the appropriate on the spot decisions. The key skills to bring to this position are the ability to solve problems, troubleshoot under pressure while remaining calm and professional.

We are looking for a person with the right mix of technical knowledge, charm, and critical thinking. Having reliable transportation is a must. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with high-level voice, data and video networking for the right candidate. This opportunity is 100% Onsite.

Telecom Technician Responsibilities:

– Answer incoming phone calls. – Respond to support requests. – Troubleshoot and resolve issues in an efficient manner. – Travel between client sites for voice system and cabling support. – Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance tasks on client systems. – Monitor health of supported voice equipment. – Assist in hardware and software rollouts. – Document your work.

Telecom Technician

Qualifications:

– Fujitsu 9600 Phone System experience is required. – Proficiency with Legacy Wiring is required. – 2-3 years of experience with telecommunication technical support is required. – Driver's License is required. – Must be able to pass a criminal background and CORI check. – Must be able to pass a drug screening.
