General Summary

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the store, mentors team members to provide fast and friendly service, and ensures every customer receives a great shopping experience.

• Assist in daily store operations and ensure every customer receives a great shopping experience.
• Mentor team members to provide fast and friendly service.
• Maintain courteous and friendly attitude toward customers and coworkers.
• Stock and re‑stock inventory merchandise throughout the facility.
• Check in vendor deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Complete required paperwork including shift reports, gas reconciliation, cigarette counts, etc.
• Assist in training new staff and support the Store Manager as needed.

• Minimum one year of retail experience.
• General computer knowledge and ability to operate electronic equipment and sales transactions.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to read, write, and operate electronic equipment.
• Ability to stand, kneel, lift and bend up to 25 pounds.
• Available to work any shift within operational hours, including weekends.
• Minimum age 18 years, own reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

• Lift up to 30 pounds at times.
• Traverse and access all areas of the store.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Prolonged periods standing and working at a cash register.

Starting rate: $18.50.
