A client in the Kingston area is seeking a Senior Account Clerk to join their Business Office team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys accounting, working with financial data, and keeping things organized and on track.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, payments, and vendor maintenance.
+ Track and monitor grant funding allocations and expenditures to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
+ Utilize strong Excel skills to maintain spreadsheets, track budgets, analyze data, and reconcile accounts.
+ Prepare financial, budgetary, and statistical reports.
+ Process receipts, deposits, payments, and other financial transactions.
+ Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
+ Communicate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and funding agencies.
Qualifications
+
Experience with accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting functions.
+ Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large spreadsheets and financial data.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
