HDR is seeking water experienced construction professionals across the Hudson Valley and lower Catskills area to join our growing Construction Services team. Seeking experienced professionals with NYCDEP or local Water Municipality project experience to work in Ulster County. Transportation experience will also be considered. Must be willing to work onsite in Ulster County near Ashokan Reservoir in the Town of Olivebridge as well as Rondout Reservoir in Grahamsville, NY.

In the role of Resident Engineer, we'll count on you to:
- Perform complex construction assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard construction engineering techniques and procedures
- Conduct project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding and scheduling
- Receive, issue and track RFIs, submittals and other required data
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years experience in construction engineering
- Local candidates given preference
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field
- Previous construction engineering experience
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example:
Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. - Experience using Microsoft Office, Estimating & CPM Scheduling Software, and web-based document collaboration software.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
New York: $103,075 - $190,000
