School Psychologist
Wyomissing Area School District is now accepting applications for the position of School Psychologist. This position provides psychological, educational and behavioral health services including student assessments, parent/staff consultations, individual or small group counseling, staff development, direct interventions, and support team coordination. This position may travel between school locations.
Key Responsibilities As a School Psychologist, you will report to the Principal and the Director of Student Services. Your work will include:
- Comprehensive Assessment:
Evaluate intellectual, adaptive, academic, social, and emotional development. - Expert Interpretation:
Translate psychological assessment results into actionable insights for staff and families. - Strategic Intervention:
Develop and implement strategies and direct counseling services to meet the unique needs of students. - Compliance Leadership:
Apply state and federal standards to ensure every student receives the support they deserve.
Minimum Requirements:
Certification in:
Pennsylvania Certification - School Psychology Minimum Master's Degree plus 30 credits
Additional Requirements:
Current Act 34, 114, and 151 Clearances
