Substitute Teacher

you can email all of these to elizabeth parker at  She will then send you background check instructions. We are able to pull these results online, and reimbursement requests are submitted once you have worked four full days as a substitute teacher.

if there are certain days of the week or specific schools you want to work at, we can set those preferences. All sub jobs will come from an automated phone call, so we encourage you to save that phone number in your phone. We will give more in-depth instruction and information at the sub training.

the roane county schools reserve the right to deny employment to any applicant. Completion of the substitute training class does not guarantee employment as a substitute. Further, substitute teachers can be terminated from service at any time.
