Perma-Fix Environmental Services is seeking a Facilities Systems Maintenance & Compliance Engineer to join our DSSI facility in Kingston, TN.
This position offers an opportunity for an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer to work directly with the systems and equipment that support a highly regulated environmental facility. The role combines engineering, process controls, facility systems, maintenance support, project management, and regulatory compliance
.
- Process control systems, instrumentation, and plant equipment
- Mechanical systems, including process piping and pumps
- Thermal and air pollution control systems
- DCS/PCC and HMI programming
- Engineering drawings and AutoCAD documentation
- Facility upgrades and equipment reliability improvements
- Engineering and construction project oversight
- Technical support for Operations and Maintenance
- RCRA, TSCA, radiological, and environmental compliance documentation
We are looking for a degreed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with strong technical and problem-solving skills who is comfortable working both in an engineering office environment and directly within an operating facility.
Experience with
Micro-DCS/PCC programming and HMI software such as Wonderware is preferred; however, training is available for the right candidate.
The position is approximately 60% office-base and 40% facility-based
, providing an opportunity to be directly involved in the systems you support and improve.
B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required
