Sutherlin Subaru is looking for a Used Vehicle Director who knows the difference between having cars and having the right cars. This isn’t a babysitting role. This is a build-it, own-it, win-with-it seat.

If you’ve ever said, “Give me the authority and I’ll fix it,” congratulations. This is that moment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Owning the entire used car operation: acquisition, pricing, reconditioning, merchandising, and performance
  • Turning inventory like it owes you money (because it does)
  • Buying smart at auction and locally (we love both)
  • Working with Sales and Service without unnecessary drama
  • Coaching managers and sales teams to actually understand used cars, not fear them
  • Watching data, trends, and margins like a hawk with Wi-Fi
  • Building a department that runs tight, fast, and profitable…even on Mondays
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience leading a high-performing used vehicle operation
  • Strong inventory strategy skills (age, turn, mix, not just “more trucks”)
  • Comfortable with accountability, transparency, and real KPIs
  • A sense of humor (mandatory) and an ego that fits through doorways
  • Someone who hates excuses but loves developing people
  • Subaru experience is cool USED CAR MASTERY is required
