Provide guidance and supervision to students taking college courses in conjunction with their High School schedule.
Provide instructional assistance to students during their college class period(s).
Maintain accurate attendance, grades and coursework documentation for students attending college courses during the school day.
Maintain a disciplined classroom atmosphere for all students to learn effectively.
Education and Certification- High school diploma or hold a General Educational Development (GED) certificate
- Valid Texas educational aide certificate
- Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics
- Ability to work well with high school students
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to promote a professional relationship with students
- Ability to take initiative of situations and circumstances.
- Computer experience is a must specifically, Google classroom, Google sheets/Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Google docs/Microsoft word.
- Some experience working with children
