Job Description
Kleinfelder is looking for an Entry‑level Geologist, Environmental Engineer, or Environmental Scientist in Kingsville, TX. This position involves collecting environmental data from sites in various stages of assessment and remediation.
Responsibilities- Groundwater sampling
- Collection of soil samples
- Installation of monitoring wells
- Identification and evaluation of sensitive receptors
- Analyzing and interpreting analytical data
- Authoring technical reports
- Progressing sites towards regulatory closure
- Learning and honing fundamentals of data collection
- Ensuring data validity and QA/QC
- Observation and documentation in support of scientific investigations and engineered solutions
0–2 years of experience. The ideal candidate has a strong technical or educational background in geology or engineering, strong communication and writing skills, and is able to provide technical support on projects.
OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER training is preferred.
EducationB.S. degree in geology, engineering, or the sciences. E.I.T or G.I.T preferred.
Other RequirementsThis position may require work on projects that require full vaccination from COVID‑19. Proof of vaccination or an acceptable exemption will be required.
