Bus Monitor
- Full Time

Full-time;
Monday – Friday / $15 - $17 Hourly Upon Experience

190 days / At-will

The school bus monitor responsibilities will be part-time, but they will also be a part-time child nutrition support staff. This role requires ensuring the safety and well-being of students during their transportation, as well as assisting the child nutrition department during off-route hours to fulfill weekly 40-hour work requirements. By blending these roles, this position provides comprehensive, cross-functional support across school operations.

• Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach.
• Some custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to assist in keeping the school clean and orderly.

• Minimum 1 year experience in food service
• Minimum 1 year experience working with kids

• Assist students in boarding and exiting the school bus safely.
• Maintain order and discipline among students during the bus ride.
• Ensure that students follow safety protocols and regulations.
• Address any behavioral or safety concerns promptly and appropriately.

• Operation Monitoring
  - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.

• Multi limb Coordination
