Opportunity Details- £16,306 – £17,186 (18 hours per week term‑time & 36 hours per week during school holidays)
- Location:
Milnathort Kids Club - Term‑time hours: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm after school (18 hours per week)
- Holiday/In‑service hours: 36 hours per week on a rota basis
- Assist in the day‑to‑day running of the service and deputise in the absence of the Childcare Supervisor
- Plan and organise the day‑to‑day operations to provide flexible childcare for children aged primary 1‑14 years before and after school
- Provide high‑quality care with stimulating activities such as arts and crafts, storytelling, den building, physical play and organised trips/outings
- Work as a member of the Kids Club Team and wider School Team to support children’s learning and development within a safe and inclusive environment
- Experience in early learning or a childcare environment with knowledge of SSSC and Care Inspectorate
- Sensitivity, patience, compassion and a welcoming approach to generate trust and safety for children and families
- Excellent planning and organisational skills; ability to maintain office procedures and establish effective working relationships with children, parents and professionals
- No qualifications are required to apply, however registration with SSSC within 3 months of starting employment and pursuit of a Practitioner qualification (SVQ Level 3 Social Services or HNC in Childhood Practice) is expected
