Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in London & Essex. Our client is a growing and well-established renewable energy company delivering high-quality installations across residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Solar PV Installer / Electrician to join their installation team on a subcontract basis.

This is a hands-on, installation-only role ideal for a skilled electrician who wants consistent work in renewables without sales targets or office-based responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities Installing Solar PV systems Installing battery storage systems Installing EV charging points Completing high-quality, compliant electrical installations Working as part of an on-site installation team Ensuring all work meets current industry regulations and standards Requirements Essential Fully qualified electrician MCS Accreditation Minimum 3 years electrical experience Proven Solar PV installation experience Full UK driving licence Strong practical, on-site installation skills Desirable MCS accreditation (preferred / may be required depending on setup) Experience across residential and commercial projects Whats on Offer £350 £ 450 per day (depending on experience) Consistent, ongoing subcontract work Long-term pipeline of projects across London & Essex Opportunity to grow with a stable and reputable renewables company Future potential for full-time employment Location & Working Pattern Mobile role covering London & Essex Subcontractor position Site-based installation work
