Youth Care Staff – Days (7a–7p)

Make a difference in a young person’s life every day. At Methodist Home for Children, you’ll do more than provide care. You’ll help guide youth toward stability, growth, and hope. Our Juvenile Crisis and Assessment Center, operated in partnership with the NC Department of Public Safety, serves youth ages 10–17 who need a safe, structured environment and a chance to reset.

As a Youth Care Staff member, you’ll be the heart of our program, engaging youth in daily routines, supporting assessment activities, and modeling positive behavior. You’ll help create a safe, encouraging space where youth can learn and thrive.

• Engage youth in activities that promote learning and positive behavior.
• Support individualized service plans and assessment activities.
• Maintain a calm, non-punitive environment that motivates and supports youth.
• Model strong moral, ethical, and professional values.

• At least 21 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid NC driver’s license
• Successful completion of required screenings and trainings
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts

$15+ per hour, based on education and experience
