Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Kinston, NC for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). The role involves assessing clients' mental health needs and providing counseling, therapy, and case management services. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, facilitating group therapy sessions, collaborating with healthcare providers, and offering crisis intervention. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will contribute to the center's mission of providing compassionate, patient-centered care to all members of the community.

Qualifications
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification and knowledge of mental health practices and standards.
  • Experience with counseling, crisis intervention, and case management.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with patient care coordination, social service systems, and community resources.
  • Proficiency in documentation, record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field. Experience in a healthcare or community health center setting is a plus.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are an asset.
