1. Correctly identifies patient.
2. Correctly labels the blood tubes.
3. Draws blood at correct time.
4. Collects the appropriate specimen.
5. Collects sufficient quantity. 1. 1. Demonstrates competence with collecting blood on all age groups and their special needs. 100% compliance in identification of patients by their hospital armband prior to collection.
