About the Position
Join Our Dynamic Urgent Care Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Are you dedicated to providing exceptional urgent care services in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking highly motivated Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to deliver high-quality medical care across multiple urgent care centers. Make a meaningful impact by diagnosing, treating, and managing adult and pediatric patients independently, using your skills and compassion to improve patient outcomes.
Overview
This opportunity offers an exciting chance to work in a collaborative, supportive environment within a network of urgent care centers. As a key provider, you will handle a diverse caseload, perform minor procedures, and work with a dedicated team to ensure seamless patient care. Flexibility in location and the autonomy to see and treat patients independently are cornerstones of this role, with ongoing training and support provided to ensure your success.
Required Skills
Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in urgent or acute care settings
Board-certified (BC/NCCPA/NP Boards) or eligible for certification
Valid PA Certification or Family Nurse Practitioner certification, and current BLS certification
Proficiency in Epic EMR, with ability to utilize it effectively for all patient visits
Strong soft skills, including excellent communication, patient-centered care, and collaboration with support staff
Ability to independently evaluate and manage all patients in the center
Willingness to work within a 65-mile radius and support multiple locations as needed
Nice to Have Skills
Experience performing procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, or ear irrigation
Prior experience in pediatric and adult urgent care settings
Familiarity with additional EMR systems or additional procedural skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new protocols and procedures
Preferred
Education and Experience
Graduate degree in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) or Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution
At least 12 months of recent acute or urgent care experience in a fast-paced environment
Other Requirements
Must be able to participate in clinical interviews, EMR training, and onboarding prior to first solo shift
No call requirements; supervision provided via a designated supervising physician for APPs
Certifications in BLS are mandatory; additional certifications are beneficial
This is a clinical role with an hourly pay rate of $1.00 (note: this rate is for administrative purposes and subject to contractual terms)
