Your Challenges

Perform various processing, coating application, and parts identification, along with repair and minor assembly in the manufacture of company products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new and improved methods of production.
  • Use job‑related equipment (hand, power tools, air tools and computers) to complete/process work assignments.
  • Perform process activities including painting, media blasting, masking, stenciling, part identification marking, etc. to support production requirements.
  • Perform hand finishing operations such as surface preparation by pneumatic sanders or hand.
  • Work from blueprints, process instructions, customer specifications, job aids, work instructions, and written/verbal information.
  • Follow all Airbus, customer, OSHA, ISO and Nadcap procedures and safety policies.
  • Access material MSDS data and comply with Airbus safety policies.
  • Maintain required certifications, qualifications, licenses or permits.
  • Work from elevated platforms, e.g., lifts, scaffolding, ladders.
  • Set‑up and use test equipment to ensure applications meet customer requirements by performing self‑inspections of in‑process and finished work.
  • Input required data into the FDAQ database.
  • Perform pickup, rework and incorporation of changes to the product as required.
  • Perform housekeeping duties, proper disposal of materials, and follow Airbus’s “Clean as you Go” policy while performing duties in paint booths and designated areas.
  • Maintain and keep paint mix room clean and organized at all times.
  • Perform routine minor equipment maintenance (cleaning of paint equipment and routine replacement of packing, O‑rings, valves, etc.).
  • Move product within the immediate manufacturing work area, including across aisle, using shop‑assigned equipment such as ovens and overhead cranes, and complete transactions necessary to move product to the next operation.
  • Support continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training and assisting employees of the same or lower classification level.
  • Assist and demonstrate practices followed during all internal and external audits.
  • Assist Assembly Technicians as required by the Manager or Team Lead.
Additional Responsibilities

Qualified Experience and Training
  • At least 3 years of experience in painting.
  • Willingness to work any shift, including overtime as needed.
Your Boarding Pass
  • Education:

    High School Diploma or GED. Work Keys Assessment completion preferred.
  • Training from a vocational school or previous employer in the use of painting skills and practices.
  • Citizenship:
    Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Clearance: N/A.
Qualified Skills

Must have basic paint skills.
