Aerospace Quality Inspector

Our client, an industry leader in aerospace manufacturing, is seeking a Aerospace Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Aerospace Quality Inspector, you will be part of the Quality Operations department supporting aerostructure inspection and compliance. The ideal candidate will have keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform line-side inspections on aerostructure assemblies and components to ensure compliance with engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, and customer requirements.

+ Support the inspection of fuselage panels, structural assemblies, finishes, fastener installations, and product conformity within the production environment.

+ Identify, document, and manage non-conformities while ensuring product integrity, traceability, safety, and compliance with aerospace regulations.

+ Verify structural conformity, paint quality, fastener installation, and surface conditions through detailed inspections.

+ Support non-conformance management, root cause investigations, and FOD prevention activities to uphold quality standards.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School Diploma or GED required;
Associate Degree in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or Quality preferred.

+ Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace manufacturing or aircraft assembly.

+ Experience performing line-side inspections and managing non-conformities using MES, SAP, or similar systems.

+ Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, aircraft structures, composites, metallic aerostructures, and inspection tools.

+ Proficiency with inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and digital inspection tools.
