Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role involves executing preventative, predictive, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on all equipment used in our operations. The position offers two shifts: 11:30am‑8:30pm or 2pm‑10:30pm from Monday to Friday, and 7pm‑5:30am from Monday to Thursday.

• Execute preventative, predictive, and TPM on all operational equipment through assigned work orders in the CMMS and TPM card system.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to identify and correct breakdowns.
• Collaborate with and train coworkers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment such as CNC machinery, industrial sanders, paint lines, and fixtures.
• Plan the layout and installation of utilities, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications.
• Utilize a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment and testing devices.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical systems.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and order parts and supplies as necessary.

• Experience in preventive maintenance, pneumatics, and 3‑phase wiring.
• Strong mechanical ability.
• Proficiency in working with sprockets.
• Experience with automation and artificial intelligence.
• Knowledge of VFDs and servo controls.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Strong mechanical, analytical, and solution‑driven skills.
• Excellent understanding of safety rules in an industrial setting.

• Occasional availability to work late or on weekends.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 2013.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to use deductive reasoning, logic, and problem‑solving skills.

This is a Permanent position based out of Kinston, NC.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
