The duties of a Warehouse Supervisor will consist of overseeing the operations of the material Stores/Warehousing requirements in compliance with the company and FAA regulations/policies. These responsibilities are maintained by following best warehouse management policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Supervise/Lead a team of Parts Specialists on daily/shift tasks.
- Develop/maintain Parts Specialist shift schedule to adequately cover the Store's department as required. Cover any and all open shifts in order to avoid non-coverage.
- Identify, control, segregate, and maintain parts and materials for avionics and maintenance.
- Preserve all items while in inventory including parts subject to deterioration or shelf life limits.
- Distribute any pertinent information received by the stock room to other company departments as required.
- Inspect incoming parts for traceability, identification, documentation and overall condition.
- Ensure defective, scrap, and unserviceable articles are properly identified, segregated from new or serviceable stock, quarantined, and disposed of in accordance with the Establishment of reorder thresholds.
- Maintain inventory control (cycle counts).
- Review work orders to ensure all parts are issued.
- Packaging, shipping & receiving of company wide materials.
- Properly mark all chemicals for shelf-life and hazards.
- Ensure all expired chemicals are segregated from stock, quarantined and properly disposed of.
- Initiate requisitions as required for stock replenishment.
- Understand procedures describing reporting suspected unapproved parts in the latest edition of AC 21-29.
- Detect and report suspected unapproved parts; assure that any HAZMAT items offered for shipment are properly packaged and identified to comply with 49 CFR Hazardous Materials Regulations.
- Maintain aircraft tooling serviceability and calibration schedule.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by accountable manager.
- Must demonstrate leadership knowledge and prior supervisory experience.

This position will supervise the Parts Specialists as well as the Logistics positions.
Work environment- Mostly industrial/hangar/warehouse environment
- Some office and computer lab environment
- Exposure to loud noises including airplane machinery and jet engines
- Ability to see and hear clearly
- Ability to read, comprehend, and speak English clearly
- Ability to climb, twist, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, and crawl
- Ability to move in tight quarters
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in all weather conditions as needed
- Ability to regularly push/pull up to 70 pounds
- Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds

Required education and experience- Minimum of an Associates Degree preferred or equivalent and a minimum of four years Stores/Warehousing experience preferably within the Aviation/Aerospace areas
- At least two (2) years of experience in a stores/warehousing environment with supervisory responsibility
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
- Proven commitment to high-quality customer service
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require
