Housing Repairs Technician

Role

Ashfield District Council have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Repairs Technician – Damp, Mould and Disrepair to join the team based in Ashfield. The role is full‑time, permanent (37 hours per week) with a competitive salary of £28,598 – £31,022 per annum and a tool allowance.

• Carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks across multiple trades (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating).
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete jobs to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed using mobile technology.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the organisation professionally at all times.
