Client Accounting & Advisory Services Internship - Summer 2027
At Sweeney Conrad (as part of Ascend), interns will gain exposure to a wide range of clients and industries, with opportunities to learn from senior associates, managers, and principals. Interns will experience the real day-to-day life of a Client Accounting & Advisory Services professional and participate in hands-on activities to develop a well-rounded skill set.
- Work with a diverse set of clients and industries to gain comprehensive exposure to various business sectors.
- Engage in early and frequent interactions with all levels of professionals, including principals and managers, to understand how roles evolve with career progression.
- Receive personalized career development initiatives and mentorship programs to guide professional growth.
- Participate in company-sponsored training programs conducted by industry leaders to develop technical skills and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities include maintaining and reconciling clients general ledgers, processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and reconciliations. Interns will utilize accounting software and tools to improve efficiency and contribute to the success of the team and clients. Each intern is paired with a mentor to guide them through the internship.
Schedule:
interns are expected to work 32 hours per week, Monday through Thursday. The internship aims to transition interns to full-time employment after graduation.

Compensation & Benefits:
Pay rate is $35.00 per hour. You will be eligible for statutory benefits such as workers compensation, state disability, and unemployment insurance as prescribed by law.
