• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights to drive business performance.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies, presenting findings to senior management.
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable and receivable processes to optimize working capital.
• Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as required, contributing to the overall success of the finance team.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring that the company remains compliant and competitive.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Quick Books, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with tax preparation and compliance is highly desirable.
• CPA certification or progress towards certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with accounting functions.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Understanding of international accounting standards and practices.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.

• This position is based in Kirkland, Washington, and may require occasional travel for client meetings or training sessions.
