MoveCoordinator - JLL What this job involves:
As a Move Coordinator at JLL, you’ll be the orchestrator of seamless workplace transitions, ensuring every office move—from individual desk changes to large‑scale relocations—happens flawlessly. In this dynamic role, you’ll serve as the central point of contact between teams, vendors, and stakeholders, managing the entire lifecycle of move activities from initial planning through post‑move support. Your attention to detail and coordination skills will directly impact employee experience during critical workplace changes, making you an essential contributor to our clients’ operational success and workplace satisfaction.
Whatyour day‑to‑day will look like:
Managing new hire onboarding logistics by coordinating with administrators and team managers to ensure seamless workspace preparation and move‑in experiences for incoming employees.
Conducting detailed planning meetings with stakeholders to guide them through move logistics, space blocking, furniture layouts, and technical requirements while maintaining comprehensive documentation in move management systems.
Coordinating all move‑day activities including vendor scheduling, security notifications, equipment disconnects/reconnects, and real‑time troubleshooting to ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption to business operations.
Serving as the on‑site liaison during moves, managing multiple vendor teams simultaneously, conducting check‑in/check‑out processes, and making immediate adjustments to resolve any issues that arise.
Executing thorough post‑move follow‑up including welcome communications, lost item resolution, surplus furniture coordination, space cleaning requests, and accurate seat assignment updates for reporting systems.
Assessing workspace conditions, ordering furniture components, managing ergonomic adjustments, and ensuring all technical infrastructure is properly configured to meet employee needs.
Handling special projects and administrative duties that support the broader facilities management team, contributing to continuous improvement of move processes and customer satisfaction.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a corporate office environment with demonstrated understanding of workplace operations and organizational dynamics.
Strong project coordination and organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent move projects and competing priorities effectively.
Proficiency with information technology tools and platforms including workspace management systems, communication platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all organizational levels and manage vendor relationships.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with attention to detail necessary for managing complex move logistics, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions proactively.
College degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant workplace coordination experience.
Previous experience in facilities management, move coordination, space planning, or related workplace services roles.
Familiarity with workplace management systems, CAD or space planning software, and asset management platforms.
Understanding of ergonomic principles and workspace design standards that support employee wellbeing and productivity.
Experience managing vendor relationships and service level agreements in a corporate environment.
Knowledge of building operations, security protocols, and IT infrastructure considerations relevant to office relocations.
Customer service orientation with demonstrated ability to manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and maintain positive relationships during high‑stress situations.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

Estimated compensation for this position:59,400. USD per year
