Working closely with employees, contractors, leadership, and regulatory stakeholders, the successful candidate will influence safety culture, promote operational excellence, and support compliance with applicable federal, state, local, marine, rail, and company requirements. • Support management of the site's Process Safety Management (PSM) and operational risk management initiatives, as applicable.

  • Partner with operations and maintenance teams to assess risks associated with operational changes, projects, contractor activities, and maintenance work.

  • Support emergency preparedness programs through planning, drills, exercises, and continuous improvement of response capabilities.

  • Provide oversight and guidance regarding contractor safety performance and compliance with site requirements.

  • Support facility security programs, regulatory obligations, and access control processes while promoting security awareness across the workforce.

  • Coordinate and deliver safety-related training, orientations, and workforce engagement initiatives.

  • Develop reports, recommendations, and presentations for site leadership regarding safety performance, compliance activities, and improvement opportunities.

  • Build positive relationships throughout the organization and contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
