Summary
Jovie
Redmond, WA, USA
A bit about us: We are a warm, active family in Kirkland seeking a long-term nanny for our 5-month-old daughter. One parent works from home in a dedicated office, and Grandma provides care on Mondays and Wednesdays. Our baby was born premature and is thriving, and we are passionate about supporting her development through play, movement, and meaningful engagement. We love spending time outdoors, going on walks, and being fully present with her, and we hope to find a nanny who shares this hands‑on, attentive approach.
We are excited to welcome someone who will become a trusted and valued part of our parenting team.
A bit about you: You are an experienced, dependable nanny who brings a nurturing, safety-first mindset to infant care. You genuinely enjoy getting on the floor to play, engaging in developmental activities, and supporting milestones through fun, educational experiences. You are attentive, kind, and emotionally supportive, while also being proactive and communicative with parents. You value building a trusting, respectful relationship with the family and take pride in creating a safe and enriching environment.
You are looking for a long-term role where you can grow alongside a child and family.
Your days will follow a rhythm of feeding, playtime, and naps, with a focus on developmentally appropriate play, motor skill support, and nurturing care. Responsibilities include preparing and warming bottles and pre‑prepared food, maintaining our baby’s feeding and nap schedule, and engaging in activities such as floor play, walks, and sensory exploration. You will help implement simple exercises provided by our baby’s physical therapist to support developmental progress.
Child‑related housekeeping includes cleaning up after meals, tidying toys, and handling the baby’s laundry. As our daughter grows, outings such as neighborhood walks, library visits, and local activities will become part of the role.
