Special Education Teacher; FTE Keller Elementary School - Leave Replacement

Position Overview

Keller Elementary School is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to fill a 1.0 leave replacement position for the  school year. The full‑year placement will run from 08/24/2026 through 06/16/2027. Building administrators will contact applicants who are selected for an interview.

The special education program provides supports to students with a variety of needs – academic, behavioral, and adaptive. Teachers may provide pull‑out services, push‑in supports, or co‑teach with general education teachers within a model that values inclusion.

Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.

Paid per the teacher salary schedule with base pay plus additional contracts for LEAP days and responsibilities. An additional technology stipend and professional fund are provided. Salary is determined by the LWEA salary schedule posted on the Lake Washington School District website. Full benefit package is available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
