Special Education Teacher
Lake Washington School District is looking for qualified Special Education Teacher candidates for a 1.0 continuing position in a Resource Room setting at Juanita Elementary School for the school year. The resource room program provides academic and behavioral supports to students who spend the majority of their time within general education. Teachers may provide pull-out services, push-in supports or co-teach with general education teachers.
Qualifications:
Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement. Salary:
Paid per teacher salary schedule with Base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, and Responsibility. Additional Technology stipend and Professional Fund. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year. Benefits offered by Lake Washington School District can be found on the SEBB Website.
