Revit Team Member
McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Revit Team Member to join our growing CAD/BIM/VDC team. The role focuses on bringing water resource projects into the Revit environment and requires an experienced designer who can creatively solve complex design problems in a fast‑paced, water resources engineering setting. Frequent coordination and communication with design engineers is essential to solve problems, improve processes, and complete projects on time.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience preparing and developing clear, complete, and accurate designs with Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM
360/ACC. Candidates must understand the water resource industry, including fish hatcheries, hydroelectric power, and pump storage.
Preferred locations for these positions are Boise, ;
Kirkland, WA;
Spokane, WA;
Denver, CO; or Portland, OR.
- Manage Revit projects and coordinate with project teams.
- Create and manage views, sheets, schedules in accordance with standards and desired outcomes.
- Have knowledge of MEP disciplines.
- Actively participate in projects by providing support through all phases of design and delivery.
- Work and collaborate with Revit and Civil 3D within a master model.
- Manage multiple assignments, remain highly organized, and produce high‑quality products at a fast pace.
- Preferred candidates will have worked on water treatment plants, pump stations, fish hatcheries, hydropower facilities, or similar MEP projects.
- Proficient with Autodesk’s Revit.
- Proficient with pipe routing and equipment placement.
- Work with Revit content to fulfill project requirements.
- Proficient with BIM
360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). - Proficient with Navisworks and 3‑D coordination is required.
- Proficient with AutoCAD.
- Technical or vocation program completion with a focus in design and drafting; AA/AS preferred.
- 5‑7 years experience preferred as a multi‑discipline designer.
- Previous experience with Autodesk Vault is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical systems in Revit is a plus.
- Knowledge of Dynamo or Python for Revit is a plus.
- Knowledge of Inventor or similar tools is a plus.
- Experience in water resources is a major plus.
- Good technical writing and professional communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to collaborate productively with multidisciplinary team members on a variety of concurrent projects.
- Pay Range
$38 hr. – $54 hr. (DOE) - Benefits
