Geotechnical Engineer

Compensation: $70,000 - $130,000 per year.

We provide private and public sector developers with geotechnical, hydrogeologic, and environmental technical expertise for large construction projects.

• Performing geotechnical field investigations including Test Pits, Test Borings, Slope Reconnaissance, and hand augers.
• Drafting geotechnical engineering reports.
• Preparing cost estimates and proposals (after skill confirmation).
• Performing routine tests and computations associated with geotechnical engineering, and field observations.
• Performing laboratory testing and analyses in support of construction and geotechnical engineering projects.
• Attending project meetings, both in‑house and with clients.
• Occasional travel and work in remote areas under adverse conditions.
• Lifting approximately 75 pounds occasionally.

• 1 to 8 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related engineering field;
  Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related is preferred.
• Completion or scheduled Fundamentals of Engineering/Engineer‑In‑Training (EIT) exam.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
