Sr. System Applications Engineer

Responsibilities

This senior application/system engineering role focuses on defining, debugging, and supporting analog IC products for AI, data center, and telecom applications.

• Provide technical support and training to key customers and field application engineers.
• Collaborate with design engineers, field applications, and marketing to define and debug DC/DC converters, core power conversion, and DrMOS applications.
• Develop application reference circuits and system‑level power management solutions for high‑performance computing, networking, servers, and cloud markets.
• Write datasheets, application notes, design notes, and papers for publications and conferences to promote MPS products.

• Hands‑on experience with switch‑mode power supplies, including DC/DC, AC/DC, or inverters.
• Experience with low‑voltage, high‑current multi‑phase buck converter design, test, and optimization for CPU/GPU power delivery is highly preferred.
• Fluent communication in English, excellent customer communication, writing, and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated and previous experience at a power supply manufacturer or power‑management IC company is a plus.
• MSEE with 3‑5 years of work experience or a PhD in Electrical Engineering is required.

• Base salary ranges:
  California $130,000 – $180,000;
  Washington $120,000 – $170,000, adjusted for location, experience, and qualifications.
