Required Degree4 Year Degree
Responsibilities- Provide technical design for grading/paving, stormwater analysis/design, utility coordination, and ROW needs.
- Mentor junior staff and uphold high-quality engineering standards.
- Assist with business development for our Civil/Roadway Design service line.
- Assist with project management activities including scope, schedule, and budget creation and management.
- Represent Transpo in client meetings, public workshops, and stakeholder coordination.
- Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field.
- WA PE required.
- 5+ years of transportation or civil engineering experience, including roadway/transportation design.
- Experience with federally funded projects and WSDOT processes.
- Proven experience with stormwater analysis and design.
- Proficiency with Micro Station and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to agency staff and the public.
- Ability to travel within Washington.
- PE license in the State of Washington or the ability to get one within 6 months of hiring.
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
- Experience helping grow a civil/roadway design service line or team.
