You will, in part:
- Lead the electrical design of aerospace in-seat power supplies & USB outlet units for commercial aircraft from concept to certification
- Translate functional & system requirements into robust electrical architectures & detailed designs
- Propose, plan, & execute R&D activities to advance power supply & power conversion capabilities
- Evaluate new technologies
- Apply knowledge of power conversion technologies, resonant converters & digital control techniques
- Perform electrical simulations & trade studies using OrCAD, SPICE, SABER
- Stay current with industry trends in power electronics. Incorporate relevant advancements into new product development
- Lead & mentor the EE team, providing technical direction & oversight to achieve objectives
You bring:
- BSEE & 10+ yrs. relevant electrical design. Direct experience in power supply and/or power conversion product development
- US citizenship or permanent residency to align with US ITAR regulations
- Expertise w/resonant power converter topologies & digital control of power supplies
- Experience w/adv. electrical engineering simulation tools:
OrCAD, SPICE, SABER & conducting trade studies - Knowledge of DO-160, Airbus & Boeing specs.
- Ability to generate high-quality technical documents: design descriptions, requirements, test procedures, test reports, & presentations
- Experience leading electrical engineering teams or providing technical leadership on complex product development or research programs
