Financial Analyst III Remote (PST Preferred)

Summary Our company is seeking a contractor for the x-RL Finance cross team within the Finance & Business Planning (FBP) organization. In this highly impactful role, you will be a key team member of our RL-wide horizontal cross team responsible for core FP&A deliverables and projects that can be most efficiently completed centrally within the RL Pillar. We expect the x-RL cross team to continuously strive to make RL Finance more efficient, while delivering high quality, critical planning work by leveraging deep expertise in FP&A processes, x-RL Finance relationships, and visibility to work spanning our vertical teams within RL Finance.

Successful candidates for this role will need well-rounded knowledge of core FP&A concepts and experience building cross-functional relationships and communicating financial insights to diverse stakeholders. The main functions of a financial analyst are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.

• Lead cross-team ownership for a key Reality Labs vertical within RL Finance, empowering the team to achieve their goals
• Spearhead the development and implementation of standardized processes across the RL Cross team, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency
• Lead close and forecast cycles across a key Reality Labs vertical within RL Finance, including defining timelines, templates, and processes, and the preparation of flux commentary and forecasts
• Help execute the annual budget process, including partnering with vertical FP&A teams to provide support on work streams to allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and execute operational plans on Drive key systems efforts across Reality Labs Finance
• Develop and maintain proactive, collaborative partnerships between the RL vertical FP&A teams, RL Consolidations, Corporate FP&A and other cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Technical Accounting, and Enterprise Engineering
• Provide strategic guidance and lead cross-team ownership for a key Reality Labs vertical within RL Finance, empowering the team to achieve their goals
• Support risk management, internal controls, and financial compliance
• Provide thought partnership and foster collaboration across the RL Finance organization

Pay range is $47 - $52 per hour.
