Addison Group is partnering with a growing software company in Kirkland that is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its corporate finance team. This is a great opportunity for a tax professional who seeks broad responsibilities across both indirect tax and federal income tax areas in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in corporate taxation, experience supporting multi-state indirect tax compliance, and the ability to work cross-functionally with accounting, finance, and external advisors and outside tax resources.
What Youll Do- Prepare and review sales and use tax filings across multiple states.
- Support indirect tax audits, notices, registrations, and related compliance activities.
- Assist with federal and state income tax compliance, including preparation of tax work papers and supporting schedules.
- Contribute to the quarterly and annual tax provision process.
- Reconcile tax-related general ledger accounts and maintain supporting documentation.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and assess potential impacts on the business.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate tax treatment of transactions and new business initiatives.
- Work with external tax advisors and auditors on compliance and reporting matters.
- Help improve tax processes, documentation, and internal controls as the company continues to scale.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of tax experience in public accounting and/or industry.
- Experience with indirect tax (sales/use tax) compliance.
- Experience supporting corporate federal income tax compliance and reporting.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- CPA license or CPA-track strongly preferred.
- Experience with a software, SaaS, or technology company.
- Familiarity with tax compliance software and ERP systems.

Location: Kirkland, WA (hybrid schedule, 3 days in office required)
Our client offers:
$125,000 to $140,000 base salary range dependent on experience level, medical, dental, vision 401K, PTO and sick time, and paid holidays.
