Patient Transport Technician; Per Diem

Wage Range: $20.50 - $32.80 per hour. Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Safely lifts, transfers and transports patients throughout the facility.

• Assists with JIT education for patient care staff regarding lifts and transfers.
• Assists with annual skills fair for train the trainer in collaboration with education and PT departments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED for the position:

• Demonstrated knowledge of safe lifts, transfers, and transports.
• Demonstrated effective customer relations skills with a diverse population of age groups and physical conditions.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire.

• 1 year of related experience. Previous customer service, patient care, healthcare or patient transport experience desired.
• Patient care, health care, or lift team experience.
