Tasting Room Coordinator

Overview

Pay: From $22.00 per hour + Tips ($8-10 per hours) + Benefits

• Oversee and be responsible for the success of our tasting room at an operational level, which includes working on the tasting room floor during Friday-Sunday service (this position will be included in the tip pool Friday through Monday, which is approximately an additional $9-$11 per hour per week)
• Responsible for responding to Tasting Room reservation via email, voicemail, and through our online reservation system
• Create and maintain weekly staff schedules
• Set the standard for service, wine knowledge, and sales quality, with high quality guest experiences as the top priority with utmost professionalism. This includes guiding pre-shifts with Tasting Room leads, as well as collaborating with the Director of DtC, General Manager, and winemaking team to develop employee training.
• Implement programs to increase sales and foot traffic and motivate staff
• Responsible for organizing monthly inventory count, organization/restocking of our TR wine storage and non-wine items
• Participate in and help to organize all wine club events, including release weekends
• Assist in hiring, onboarding and training of all Tasting Room staff
• Work with outbound sales director and wine club to create and execute VIP guest experiences
• Manage, maintain, and update both weekly and weekend tasting menus

• Minimum 2 years of retail management experience with a proven track record of sales success in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment
• Hospitality and/or food and beverage industry experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and superb organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to be team player, but also self-manage
• Schedule flexibility is a must;
  standard work week will be Thursday – Monday
