Position

Banquet Bar Back — Part Time

Reports To

Banquets Manager(s)

Summary of Position

Support for all Beverage Staff before, during and after service. Responsible for set up, replenishment, and breakdown of all bars scheduled. Also responsible for keeping all alcohol storage space neat and organized – walk in coolers and dry storage spaces at both the Lodge and the Golf Club.

Job Duties
  • Maintains a positive and professional attitude towards colleagues, guests, and members.
  • Reads and understands Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Ensures that the bar is completely set to the correct specifications prior to function.
  • Inventories and returns all requested service wine post event. Reports start, consumption, and end counts.
  • Sets up, maintains, and breaks down multiple bars during a shift.
  • Breaks down bars at the end of each shift. This includes emptying trash, cleaning work surfaces/areas, rolling portable bars to another location, and removing glassware, floor mat, trash can, and linens.
  • Checks with and assists bartenders to maintain pars of cocktail napkins, bar stirrers, glassware, beverage product, and ice.
  • Completes accurate paperwork at the end of each shift.
  • Completes side work as assigned.
  • Assists with receiving deliveries, rotating products, and end‑of‑month inventory.
  • Observes all safety procedures during the execution of assigned duties.
  • Other duties to be assigned.
Skills and Requirements
  • Strong customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal), and mathematical skills.
  • Bending and lifting required – up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Nights, weekend, and holiday availability.
  • RAMPS Certification (Liberty Hill can provide Voucher Code once on‑boarded).
