• Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Bioinformatics, Economics, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a data science field
• Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB) and database languages such as SQL
• Experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, querying databases or performing statistical analysis

• PhD in Statistics or a related quantitative discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in statistical data analysis, including generalized linear models, multivariate analysis, clustering/segmentation, and sampling methods
• Experience in controlled experiment design and causal inference methods
• Strong prioritization and stakeholder partnership skills
• Ability to communicate analysis insights to non‑technical audiences and teach others
• Excellent teamwork, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Google Ads Marketing helps advertisers of all sizes succeed with digital marketing. This role is part of the Business Intelligence Operations (Biz Ops) team, where you will work cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to advance marketing science for customers using Google’s advertising solutions. You will perform deep data analytics, drive experimentation and measurement, and advance machine learning modeling to support global marketing programs.

You will design, prototype, and build scalable analysis pipelines, conduct controlled experiments, measure incrementality, and provide data‑driven insights to inform strategic decisions across the Ads Marketing lifecycle.

• Work with large, complex data sets, applying advanced investigative methods such as statistical and machine learning models to solve analysis problems.
• Design and analyze controlled experiments or counterfactual causal inference studies to assess the incremental impact of Ads marketing programs.
• Build and prototype analysis pipelines iteratively to provide insights at scale and develop comprehensive knowledge of Google data structures and metrics.
• Interact cross‑functionally, making business recommendations (e.g., cost‑benefit, forecasting, experiment analysis) and presenting findings to stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information.
• Develop and automate reports, iteratively build and prototype dashboards to deliver insights at scale, solving for business priorities.

US: $138,000–$198,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
