As a Tegria Data Architecture consultant, you guide healthcare clients in using technology to achieve their unique goals. You contribute to a range of engagements—from strategy and implementations to process improvement, working independently or as part of a team. You may lead a project or juggle multiple priorities. Beyond client work, you mentor team members, support internal efforts, and contribute to business growth.

Assess client needs and define data architecture solutions that align with business objectives.
Validate design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions using technologies such as Azure, Databricks, and Snowflake.
Support the execution of data-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Provide guidance and recommendations on best practices for data governance, security, and optimization.
Collaborate with clients to ensure that the architecture is aligned with their data strategy and operational needs.
Offer advice in data architecture to help clients maximize the value of their data and improve business decision-making.
Lead design sessions to build consensus among stakeholders and inform developers on key decisions and best practices.
Consistently deliver impactful, high-quality consulting services.
Step into various roles as assigned— project leader, team member or independent consultant.
Dive deep into understanding client challenges and goals.
Present multiple options for solutions whenever possible, respecting the client’s preferences.
Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to meet timelines, hit milestones, and achieve deliverables.
Provide a cohesive, well-coordinated experience.
Skillfully mediate among teams with varying interests and arrive at mutually beneficial solutions.
Communicate clearly and proactively, provide timely updates, manage client expectations.
Minimize risk for information relayed by clients to be misinterpreted, incomplete, or fragmented among internal team members.
Track and communicate decisions, contribute to change management to ensure seamless transitions while minimizing business disruptions.
Document current processes, analyze gaps, and deliver actionable improvements.
Build, test, train, and implement new infrastructure, workflows, and/or policies.
Fully test and verify deliverables meet client requirements, reliability and accuracy.
Develop work plans for yourself or a small team to deliver high quality work.
Track and report the measurable impact of your work, ensuring value for client and Tegria.
Identify and elevate engagement risks related to timelines, resources and other issues.
Create mitigation plans.
Proactively notify team members and management of potential delays or obstacles.
Guide and mentor client teams to foster their long-term success, ownership, and growth.
Progress at a pace that suits the client's needs, consistently verifying their understanding to ensure knowledge transfer and alignment on goals, priorities, and next steps.
Execute work in accordance with service line strategy.
What we’re looking forWe expect:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, IT, or computer science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Master's degree or PhD preferred
- Vendor certifications (e.g. Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, EHR vendor, Tri Zetto FACETS, etc.) Project Management (e.g. PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP) Certification in Epic (preferred)
- Typically 5+ years of professional experience delivering project or program enhancements within a healthcare organization, payer, or healthcare consulting practice where relevant experience includes:
- Great architectural tools experience (EMR reporting tools, data extraction tools, data pipeline tools, etc.)
