Responsibilities
  • Performs routine maintenance on a rotational basis to keep equipment and facility running smoothly.
  • Responds to repair and maintenance tickets submitted by internal departments.
  • Operates power and manual tools for cutting, fitting, and assembling.
  • Orders medical supplies and reports on inventory status.
  • Receives and delivers supplies to other facilities.
  • Effectively troubleshoots electrical, mechanical, and process issues in an independent manner.
  • Coordinates with external suppliers or contractors for outsourced repairs and completes follows‑up on problem resolution.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in the repair and maintenance of a variety of building and mechanical equipment.
  • Working knowledge of:
    Drywall repair, painting, minor plumbing and electrical repairs, shipping and receiving, and door hardware.
  • Must pass the following background checks:
    • Child Abuse Clearance.
    • FBI Criminal Background Check.
    • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check.
  • The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company’s exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous healthcare facility experience.
  • 2 years of experience performing tasks requiring mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of the methods, practices, materials, and tools used in the maintenance of doors, and machinery such as meters, and valves.
  • Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions involved in the use of mechanical equipment.
