Key Job Responsibilities- Driving and developing departmental continuous improvement initiatives and support implementation.
- Assemble mechanical and electrical satellite components, sub‑assemblies, and integration assemblies; fabricate and/or process materials into complex manufactured products, and operate testing equipment and tooling in a Cleanroom and ESD control environment.
- Lead process work and review output for quality and adherence to standards and procedures.
- Lead daily team meeting facilitation, end‑of‑shift reporting, and coordinate efforts to minimize production interruptions.
- Support new‑hire training programs within your department and contribute to development and modification of training programs; develop training plans for your team and implement training programs within your department.
- Drive safety standards and operations protocol while ensuring team compliance.

A Day in the LifeThe Lead MFG Assembly Technician will identify process improvements to improve build efficiency. You will work closely with multiple engineering teams on both early hardware development and setting the stage for later production hardware manufacturing processes. The successful candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, start‑up like environment and is able to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to positively impact team metrics and organization goals.

With some tasks, you may be an individual contributor, but you may also work in a group environment to achieve organizational goals. This group of Technicians thrives in success by working as a team.
We are currently in a research and development phase but moving towards a production environment.
- 4+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands‑on engineering environment experience.
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan.
- Knowledge of tools and measurement devices (oscilloscope, frequency analyzer, or equivalent).
- Can demonstrate strong attention to safety and ability to follow detailed procedures.

Compensation and BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
