Job DescriptionPosition Overview:
As a Quality Inspector III in the manufacturing department, you will be responsible for conducting inspections of manufacturing goods throughout the production process. This includes both dimensional and electrical inspection of sub‑assemblies and final system assemblies. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and compliance of the products by interpreting various technical documents.
Shift: 1st Monday to Friday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM)
Payrate: $25.10/hr.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed inspection of manufacturing goods during the production process.
- Conduct dimensional and electrical inspections of sub‑assemblies and final system assemblies.
- Accurately interpret prints, manufacturing drawings, diagrams, wire cards, and lists to approve or reject in‑process or final assemblies.
- Work according to clearly defined procedures and tasks with set guidelines to make informed decisions.
- Follow well‑defined technical procedures to perform duties, adhering to company standards.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge gained through specialized education or training in inspection or a related field.
- Basic understanding of work routines and procedures within the discipline.
- Ability to work within predefined procedures and routines, with attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as manufacturing drawings and diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Good communication skills to report and document findings.
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
