Job Description & How to Apply Below

About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned Chief Marketing Officer to define and scale Adaptiva’s narrative, brand strategy, and go-to-market execution. In this role, you will architect and lead a transformative marketing organization that translates deep technical differentiation into compelling market positioning, and accelerates enterprise adoption. You will own the full marketing funnel—from category creation and brand building to demand generation and pipeline acceleration—establishing Adaptiva as the clear leader in the Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) space.

Working closely with the company’s leadership team and the Heads of Sales, Product, and Customer Success, you will make marketing a central, data‑driven pillar of the company’s go‑to‑market strategy. This includes driving tightly aligned campaigns, enabling the field with high‑impact messaging and content, and building a predictable, scalable pipeline that directly contributes to revenue growth and customer expansion.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with operational rigor—an exceptional storyteller and builder who has scaled marketing functions in high‑growth environments. You bring a strong bias for action, a deep sense of ownership, and the ability to balance long‑term brand development with near‑term performance outcomes. This role will report directly to the CEO and will be based at the company headquarters in Kirkland, WA.

Responsibilities
  • Own end‑to‑end marketing strategy and execution, including Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Content, Public Relations, Analyst Relations, Customer Marketing, and Partner Marketing.
  • Plan, orchestrate, and execute multiple product launches in quick succession, keeping the schedules tightly aligned with the company’s product roadmap.
  • Develop and articulate Adaptiva’s positioning and messaging across the IT and cybersecurity landscape, translating complex and highly differentiated technical capabilities into narratives that resonate with enterprise buyers.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high‑performing marketing team that delivers repeatable, high‑volume pipeline through a balanced mix of earned, owned, and paid channels.
  • Design and execute go‑to‑market plans that directly contribute to pipeline, revenue, and customer expansion—with clear, measurable ROI at every stage.
  • Own analyst relations with firms such as Gartner, IDS, and Forrester, driving recognition and validation of Adaptiva’s leadership in the AEM space.
  • Continuously evaluate competitive dynamics and market trends to identify whitespace opportunities and sharpen Adaptiva’s brand differentiation.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Sales and Product, ensuring tight alignment on messaging, enablement materials, and campaign priorities.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with a significant track record at B2B software startups or high‑growth technology companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field;
    Master’s degree preferred.
  • Strong product marketing foundation with the ability to distill complex, technical concepts into clear, compelling stories for customers, salespeople, partners, and analysts.
  • Demonstrated success scaling a marketing organization through rapid growth.
  • A leadership style rooted in ownership, metrics‑driven outcomes, and a bias for action.
  • Deep familiarity with the Enterprise IT or cybersecurity landscape; experience with endpoint management solutions is a strong plus.
Benefits

We offer an industry‑leading benefits package, including 100% company‑paid health insurance, performance‑based bonuses, a 401(k) retirement plan, and generous stock options that allow employees to participate in the company’s long‑term success.
