Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

Provide on‑site nursing and care in a supportive setting for adolescents and young adults.

What You’ll Do
  • Administer medications and monitor vital signs, ensuring accurate documentation in medical records.
  • Evaluate medical complaints and concerns from residents, effectively communicating with Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, providing direct care and nursing services as prescribed.
  • Monitor chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Maintain comprehensive medical records and logs, adhering to all mandated reporting and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with Behavioral Care Staff regarding medication management and refills.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings, contributing expertise to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Nursing Degree.
  • Licensure:
    Current RN licensure with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Experience:

    Experience in healthcare, especially with teens or young adults, is preferred.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to make sound judgment calls in high‑pressure scenarios.
  • Team Player:
    Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Computer

    Skills:

    Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Crisis Management:
    Ability to react quickly and calmly as part of a team in emergent situations.
  • Quality Focus:
    Proactive mindset that seeks to improve quality, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

Pay Range

Pay range for this position is $39 to $59 depending on education and experience.
