Wage Range: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
Certified Nurse Midwife (Per Diem)The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) provides nursing midwifery care to ante‑partum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients, including women and newborns.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nurse midwifery care during ante‑partum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses in women of all ages.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures, prescribe medication, and perform specialized treatments.
- Offer health promotion and disease prevention counseling.
- Provide guidance and leadership to students and colleagues.
- Manage programmatic aspects of midwifery care.
- Bachelor’s or graduate degree in nursing.
- Board‑certified in Certified Nurse Midwifery.
- Valid active license to practice nursing and midwifery in the state.
- Experience providing midwifery care is preferred.
