Wage Range: $48.21 - $87.11 per hour. Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. We are seeking an experienced RN with experience in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum to join our Family Maternity Center. This position is self-scheduling.
This job posting is open to GYN/Postpartum, Antepartum, or Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses who have competencies in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, as well as Postpartum.
Job SummaryThe RN is responsible for the total direct nursing care of all patients within established standards of care, hospital and unit policies, procedures, and guidelines. The Obstetrical Flex Registered Nurse on the Family Maternity Center is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to perinatal patients, encompassing labor & delivery, antepartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care. Operating within established standards of care, hospital protocols, and unit policies, the role requires adeptness in assessing patient needs throughout the perinatal journey, including neonatal care.
As a representative of our Baby Friendly organization, the nurse prioritizes keeping patients and their neonates together, demonstrating proficiency in managing neonatal care alongside adult patient care. This position is self-scheduling.
REQUIRED for the position:
- Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required)
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
