Job SummaryEvergreen Health is seeking an inspiring Nurse Manager for Children’s Services to lead a highly engaged team in delivering exceptional, family-centered pediatric care. Under the general supervision of the Executive Director, this role holds 24-hour accountability and responsibility for assigned areas, leading the overall quality of nursing care while planning, developing, organizing, integrating, and directing programs, staff, and budget in alignment with Evergreen Health’s Purpose, Mission, Shared Commitment, and Strategic Priorities. PrimaryDuties
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and/or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington or holding a multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS – American Heart Association by start date
- 3 years of recent clinical experience in pediatric or neonatal critical care nursing with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership qualities
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field
- Previous experience in a management or leadership role in an inpatient care setting
- National nursing specialty or leadership certification, or willingness to obtain within 18 months of hire
